Chris Whitesell has been in the construction and insurance field for over 30 years. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Chris has owned and operated construction firms in both Florida and Tennessee handling large commercial projects to small home remodels. Prior to COVID, Chris decided to focus his attention on the insurance industry as an adjuster and a consultant amidst an industry trained in prioritizing protocol over proper estimating practices and understanding of construction processes. After handling and adjusting large claims following the disasters caused by hurricanes Ian, Debby, Helene, and Milton, Chris began working on alternative dispute resolutions to help insureds retrieve the money they needed from their insurance policies to help get them back on their feet.
Chris is a member in good standing of the Insurance Appraiser and Umpire Association and holds a CPIA certification from the IAUA. Chris is heavily involved in education and growth in the insurance appraisal industry. And while there is no Florida regulated governing body for insurance appraisers and umpires, Chris holds an active insurance adjuster's license which is highly regulated by the Florida Department of Financial Services.
